We provide wade and walk fly fishing trips in Vail and Beaver Creek, Colorado.

Wade fishing is a great way for novice and expert anglers to enjoy the area's bountiful waters. Our most popular trip in the Summer months, it affords fly fishermen a chance to thoroughly work waters with hundreds of native trout with an expert guide right by your side. Our Orvis Endorsed guide staff closely monitors river flows, water clarity and movement of bug hatches to put you where the fish are biting best.

The options for wade trips are endless. Trout can be caught on wade trips throughout the year. While the majority of our trips take place on the Eagle,Colorado, or Roaring Fork Rivers, many of our clients choose to explore other waters. The Yampa Tailwater is a great option during the high water period of runoff. Our guides love to grab a small light rod and introduce their clients to some of our small high mountain streams. The dry fly fishing and scenery is unbeatable, and crowds are non-existent.

Advance reservations are encouraged; however we will try to accommodate people last minute. A 50% deposit is required on all trips. Deposits are fully refundable up to 48 hours prior to the trip. What's Included?

A friendly, patient Orvis Endorsed guide, local transportation, beverages, Orvis fly rod and reel, Orvis breathable waders and boots, all terminal tackle, and flies. A freshly prepared streamside meal accompanies all full day trips. Lunch can be supplied on half day trips for an additional $20.00 or $25.00 for our gourmet lunch.

What's Not Included?

Fish, they must all be released. A one day fishing license ($9.00) and a gratuity for your guide is greatly appreciated. Just like a restaurant, a 15-25% gratuity is customary. Absolutely everything else is provided! What should you bring? Rainwear, polarized sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, camera and extra water. All items are available in our store. When fishing with children please bring an extra pair of clothing and socks. In the Winter it is best to layer like going skiing and bring an extra change of warm socks.

"I want to thank Jeff Lyon, my instructor through the Orvis program out of Edwards, CO. What a solid start I have to a lifetime of fly fishing! Not only was the course and his instruction technically beneficial, but we spent a majority of our time practicing various techniques while on the water. Needless to say, I've come back to St. Louis eager to join experienced fly fishermen on upcoming outings and I am no longer anxious about being new to the sport. It is evident to me that the knowledge gained through the Orvis school is beneficial to anyone, no matter their experience level.
