As local anglers, we live to ski/ride in the mornings and fish in the afternoons. We offer a wide range of Colorado fishing trips and can tailor to your schedule. We provide all the equipment you will need for the day, all you have to do is decide which trip is best for you. Let’s get started.

Colorado Fly Fishing Trips for Winter 2015/2016

Wade & Walk Fly Fishing Trips

We provide year-round wade and walk Colorado fly fishing trips.

Wade fishing is a great way for novice and expert anglers to enjoy the area’s bountiful waters. Our most popular fly fishing trip in the summer months, wade fishing  affords fly fishermen a chance to thoroughly work waters with hundreds of native trout – with an expert guide right by your side. Our Orvis endorsed guide staff closely monitor river flows, water clarity, and movement of bug hatches to ensure your fishing where the fish are biting best.

Wade fishing gives you the option of fishing more than 1 river in a day – the options for wade trips are endless. While the majority of our Colorado fishing trips take place on the Eagle River, Colorado River, Frying Pan River, Blue River, or Roaring Fork River, many of our clients choose to explore other waters.

Our guides love to grab their favorite light rod and explore our small high mountain streams with any type of fisherman – beginner or advanced – and help them learn more about the sport of fly fishing. The dry fly fishing and scenery is unbeatable this time of year, and crowds are non-existent.

Our extremely knowledgeable and friendly Orvis guides will make sure that you have a great experience, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned angler.  We provide all the equipment necessary for you to be comfortable and safe – all you need to do is book your trip.  Here are our winter wade and walk fishing trip prices.

Float Fly Fishing Trips

Join Fly Fishing Outfitters for guided Colorado fishing trips in Vail or Beaver Creek, CO.  Float fishing is one of the best ways to enjoy fly fishing, while at the same time enjoying some of Colorado’s most magnificent scenery. Experiencing fly fishing from a boat can provide exciting opportunities to reach remote parts of the river that aren’t accessible on foot.

We use the very best boats in the industry; fiberglass drift boats that provide the ultimate in comfort, handling, and safety.

Our guide staff has over 275 years combined experience on the local rivers.  They are whitewater and first aid/CPR certified, and committed to giving their clients a safe, scenic float, regardless of which  river you decide to float on. Colorado State Law requires that any person participating in a guided fishing trip wear a class 3 life jacket, no exceptions, but we’ll provide one for you.
