Updated fishing reports for October 30th. 2015.
Still Fantastic Fishing Conditions!!
Fall Fly-fishing here in the Vail/Roaring Fork valley’s continues to be excellent. This time of year is considered to be some of the best fishing of the year by many local’s. Thinned crowds , cool nights make for much better fishing. The Streamer fishing is what is best right now for big Trout. The Eagle and Roaring Fork rivers are also fishing very well. There is better fishing from mid- mornings until dark, no need to first one on the water anymore. The Blue Winged Olives and Midges are going to be the predominate hatches right now making fly selection easier. Fall is also our favorite time of the year to fish streamers!! The pre spawn Browns are on the move and becoming very aggressive. If you have never fished the streamer program then now is the time to come over to the fun side. 6-7 Wt. rods and heavy leaders coupled with the big streamer patterns make for on amazing day on the river. Our guide staff is full of streamer fanatics,so if you want to learn from the best give us a call and we would be happy to share our passion with you. We have a huge selection of flies at the ready for any condition or water you fish. Our guide staff has over 275 years of experience on local waters, no one can even come close to that. Call us now and get out on the water with best or let us help you stock up on supplies. Our shop staff is the friendlies most helpful in the valley. (970) 854-8090 or (970) 476 -FISH (3474)
